- Keep it short
The brain retains information best when it’s delivered in small chunks. Deliver content in modules. Strip away all non-essential information and keep your module tight. - Describe the problem A
Open the module with the problem. Say why it’s a problem and why it’s important to overcome it. - Introduce the solution B
After you have outlined the problem, you need to talk about the solution that you are going to teach. This gets people into the learning groove and prepares them for what is to come.
. - Describe the pathway from A to B, step by step
This part is the core of your module. Make sure you include every necessary step, without assuming knowledge that some people may not have. - Wrap up the lesson in a nutshell
At the end of the module, wrap up the lesson by briefly by reiterating the steps that led from problem A to solution B.
