If you want to add a forum to your blog – which you need to, if you’re creating a membership site, or want to add true interactivity to the programs you’re running – you have quite a few different forum software options.
One of the best forum software is vBulletin which costs $195 for a single license.I’ve tried vBulletin and it’s excellent forum software. However, it’s hard to tweak the design to be compatible with your website.
That’s why at A-List Blogging we use a free WP forum plugin, called Simple:Press. The look of your site is maintained – and with that the branding is strengthened. Simple:Press isn’t a sophisticated as vBulletin, but is easy to use. And it’s being developed consistently.
